Vision Zero Cities brings together leading industry and policy experts, advocates, and elected officials from across the nation.
Transportation Alternatives is excited to host the 10th Annual Vision Zero Cities conference from October 18 – 20, 2023 at New York University in partnership with the Rudin Center for Transportation Policy and Management at NYU Wagner.
Kicking off this three-day event, will be Dorothy’s session:
Mr. President, Tear Down this Highway!
11:00am – 12:00pm ET
Urban highways divided communities and destroyed neighborhoods. Now cities from Syracuse to San Francisco to Detroit are choosing to get rid of them altogether. And for the first time, new federal program is helping foot the bill. In addition, some cities are choosing to forego new highway construction altogether.
